Day 30

Today I have thought about all that is going on in my life at this point...forgiveness, family sickness, home schooling, projects, housework, church, spiritual growth, relationships(mommy, wife, friend, grandaughter, daughter, sister, ext).  Most days seem as if there isn't enough time to do what needs to be done in my house and I wonder how am I suppose to do all that needs to be done and do it effectively, the way the Lord would have it to be done.  It's kind of over whelming at times.  As I lay in my bed watching t.v. one simple word pops into my head, FOCUS.  God is telling me I need to focus.  I have to recognize what is most important and choose daily to focus on what the Lord has for me to do.  I have had trouble focusing in the past due to all the chaos in my mind, now that most of it is clear I don't know where to start in just doing basic things.  My mind and heart feel lighter and more free since day 27's entry.  I know what to do, sometimes it's just hard to make yourself do something you aren't use to doing, especially if it's saying NO.  It's almost as if my brain doesn't know what's going on since my mind is clear, thank be to God for a clearer mind.  After so many years of captivity to negativity I really just don't know what to do with myself.  Guess it's a good thing I know THE ONE who knows exactly what I need.  I am just trusting the Lord to lead me into my destiny, I want all He has for me.  Right now I am just so thankful for the blood of Jesus and what it's done for me.  Gosh it feels so good to not be angry and bitter all the time.  I feel so free, I could just cry.  I am just so thankful to know that I am moving in the right direction with the Lord.  He is ALL I need.

Psalm 27:4 says, "One thing I ask of the Lord, this is what I seek;  that I am dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the Lord and to seek Him in his temple."

I couldn't find focus in the Bible, but center is used 3 times.  Proverbs 4 really spoke to me and my situation...I know what to focus on, in the Bible Christ is referred to as, that Light, the Light exc...John 1:8  He(John the Baptist) was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light.

Hear, ye children, the instruction of a father, and attend to know understanding.

 For I give you good doctrine, forsake ye not my law.

For I was my father's son, tender and only beloved in the sight of my mother.

 He taught me also, and said unto me, Let thine heart retain my words: keep my commandments, and live.

 Get wisdom, get understanding: forget it not; neither decline from the words of my mouth.

Now this is how the Lord speaks to us...Thank you Jesus for an imtimate personal relationship.  I love the Lord and how He works (O:  My Lord is the CENTER(focus) of my life.
