Loving the family time...
Our most recent addition to the family would be a pond of fish that our kiddos love. Every day we feed them & are working on a dock so we can enjoy them even more. It will be so peaceful to sit and watch the kids feed the fish from it. It's nice from the back deck, but nothing like being close & waching the kids laugh and enjoy watching God's beauty in nature. Life is good! God is awesome!

Eli is 5
My little man is growing sooo fast. I literally wish I could slow time down for a while. I love my babies. I pray I accomplish in them what the good Lord intended when he gave me the two greatest gifts in the whole wide world. Nothing compares to being a mommy. I wouldn't trade what I get to do for ANY THING in the world. Thank God he has given me such an awesome husband and blessed him with such a wonderful job, so that I can use each day to be with our babies & do the Lord's will in our lives. Words can not discribe how greatful I am. We are so BLESSED! Thank you Lord for all you have done.

Our scare....
Thanks to everyone who has had us in your prayers. Eli was diagnosed with pnemonia May 14, 2010 at Scottish Rite. We stayed till May 16th and now thanks to all the prayers, Dr's, nurses and the good Lord he is feeling much better. For anyone who doesn't know the story...Eli was taken to the ER in Ellijay(May13) and they diagnosed him with an URI...he was complaining of trouble breathing and saying his heart hurt. That night he woke up crying saying his heart hurt..not just a normal cry, I knew it was serious so I called his peditricain and they said once his fever came down he'd be fine(the fever was making him have pains-this didn't quite sit rite w/ me) the next a.m. he still had a high fever and was throwing up so I took him to the Dr. and they said he had some sort of virus...I was frustrated by this point. Later that day I saw a posting on Face Book about how ticks were really bad this year and that someone's grandbaby had rocky mtn. fever ...this brought back to my memory that Eli had a tick on his head abt 2 wks earlier. I called the Peditricain and they has us go to the ER again this time for a blood test for lyme disease and some other tests. Abt an hour later they called and said we had to bring Eli to the Dr. office that his wt. count was high(suppose to be1 and his was 36 verry high) they weren't sure what was wrong they thought it may be his appendix so they sent us to Scottish Rite for a catscan..with that they found nothing so they drew more blood to make sure the #'s were correct and they were the same as at the ER is Ellijay finally they did a chest x-ray found it... pnemonia! So we stayed a while in Scottish Rite and I thank God that I was remined of the tick, the good Lord knows just how to do things. I am thankful that we have such an awesome God!

2010
A new year, a new season in life. Psa. 113:3 From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the Lord's name is to be praised.
It's time to get into the Word & get your self re-anchored in God's promises constantly in your heart. It is time to pray the prayer of faith & take your stand on the basis of His provision.
Praise God. Praise Him in the morning, praise Him at noon. Praise Him at night. (Scripture Reading Psa. 50)
You don't have to be afraid of satin. He'll be afraid of you.

CHRISTmas 09'
CHRISTmas...our family doesn't do santa, the easter bunny, tooth fairy or any other finctional made up characters for any Holliday, insted we have chosen to keep the Christmas Story ALIVE. Our opinion on the matter is that Jesus is the reason for the season and we want to instill the Lord in our kids, they know we love them and have no intention of taking the fun out of everything so we do fun things like have Jesus a Birthday party and celebtate God's gift to us...with out Jesus the greatest gift ever, our future would be aweful. SO we made the personal decision to not lie to our kids, after all the Bible says not to lie and the result of lieing isn't one I care to collect in the end and if we are lieing to our own flesh and blood about the little warm fuzzy santa, easter bunny and so on then what are they to think when they eventually find out they aren't real....and we aren't suppose to lie. Oh and not to mention what about when they ask well if santa or the others aren't real and I can see them, then where is this God or Jesus you are telling me about, is he real....They have never even seen Him! Yes I know alot to think about hugh....I just want to make sure my children trust me and what I tell them about my Lord and Savior. Thier is enough deception going on in the world, I don't want to be a part of it. Hope your CHRISTmas is blessed!
Just a little something to think about, right.......above are images of the kids fav. gifts!

It's all about God....
O.k. so thier has been some changes in the Gibson home. God is so good and knows just what to do and when, we've just got to be ready and willing to be obedient and know when He is speaking to us. Change is hard especilly when it hits home, decisions aren't always easy and we don't always do something as soon as we are told, but thanks be to God...the good Lord doesn't give up on us. All I know to do anymore is trust in God and do what he wants, afterall he isn't out to harm us; some things are just tough to make yourself do & others don't always understand, but all that matters is God. As long as I do what He wants, I know with out a doubt I am pleasing Him & all will be well. I don't have time to be concerned with what people think about what I do, all I can do is trust and follow my Father....He will guide me in all I do & He will do the same for you; just listen for His voice & follow Him, his name is God the Father, SON-Jesus & The Holy Spirit.....the great I AM! He will be all you ever need!

Hayden Cantrell
A gift straight from God....meet Hayden Cantrell, he is the newest member of our family. He is such a sweet heart, from the first moment I met him he stole my heart. Children are so precous and the most wonderful blessings that God could have possibly given us while here on earth. Psa. 127:3 Lo, children are a heritage of the Lord; and the fruit of the womb is his reward.

My Babies
I am so blessed to have such beautiful, smart, healthy babies. Aly is 8 and attends NGCA(making straight A's so far this year,as you can see in the above image). Eli is 4 and is doing homeschooling and loves being outdoors doing anything w/ his dad(going hunting w/ dad in the image above). They are both making us so proud. Our goal is to raise them to the best of our ability for the Lord, so that they will know Him and seek Him in all they do. My children are such precous gifts from God & I want them to know that He will provide and take care of us always. I want my children to understand that God gave us the greatest gift ever and if we follow Him, we will be blessed beyond measure. God is so good!

Floaters
I went to the eye Dr. today, along with my grandmother and our little man, Eli. I have been seeing a small transparent grey spot every now and then, except recently it has been more frequent. So we decided to get an exam. To all that don't know me I am what they call a worry wart. I know to cast my cares upon the Lord, but that doesn't keep the devil from attacking your mind now does it....every aweful disease or possible negative outcome surfaced in my mind. But that doesn't matter because I know who my provider is and I know that my God will take care of my every need, no matter what! Come to find out I have what is called a floater...I know sounds corney. These little guys can be caused by eye injuries, certin diseases & of coarse old age or sometimes during fetal development( then they are caused by small flakes of protien or other matter getting trapped in the vitreous as the eye is developing. They remain in the vitreous after birth, resulting in floaters in your line of sight.) Floaters are usually harmless and rarely limit vision.
Needless to say today I am learning to be very thankful for the little things in life along with the large-the food in my freezer; even though I don't have an ice maker, the water in my well, the roof over my head, my vehicle,my beating heart, my health and my families health, our jobs, being able to walk, see, hear, taste and smell; everything good and bad I have to be thankful for I am, because the great I AM is all I need and will supply all my needs according to his riches and glory. I AM thankful for God, Jesus & the Holy Spirit....God's greatest gifts to us. I am just feeling very blessed and thankful today. Each day is a gift and we tend to take advantage of each one. God is love and each additional day he does't return is proof of his mercy for us all. Thank God for floaters....
Oh and Eli had to get him some little glasses today, he is such a doll. I will have to post a picture soon. I am grateful for the great I AM! God Bless!
